Are your RMPP Booties Too Small? (Read this first)

RMPP booties are snug and they are impossible to get on without using our doggie shoe horns.  Before initiating an exchange or return, please make sure you are putting the booties on as we demo in this video. If you are using the shoe horns and can get the booties on, they are likely the right size. Sizing up is typically the difference between the boots staying on or falling off.

EXCHANGES

Exchanges must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. Free exchanges are limited to one per purchase.

To initiate an exchange, simply email us at woof@rockymountainpawprotection.com

Please include your order number, the reason for the exchange, and the size you’d like to exchange for. We will then create the exchange and send you a return label.

Boots must be in brand new, not-worn-outside condition, free from fur/lint, with attached neoprene shims tucked back in. Please do not tuck the shoe horns into the booties. If the boots show signs of wear or damage they will not be eligible for exchange. We understand that you must try on the booties, but please make sure to do this inside on a clean floor and never pull on the neoprene shims as this can damage the bootie.

Once we process your exchange, you will receive an email with new tracking information. If you’d like to expedite the exchange process, you can follow our return instructions below and make a new purchase for the correct size.

RETURNS

🚨 Worn Outside? We Can’t Accept Returns! 🚨

We totally get it—finding the right fit can take a little trial and error! That’s why we offer free exchanges and returns to help you get it just right.

🔹 But here's the deal: Booties must be assessed indoors before hitting the trails.
🔹 If they’ve been worn outside, we can’t accept them for a return or exchange.
🔹 Need help? We're here for you! Just reach out, and we'll guide you to the perfect fit.

How to check the fit indoors:
✔️ Do our pull test. The boots should require a very firm pull to get off.
✔️ Have your pup walk around inside for a few minutes. Test them on stairs if possible.
✔️ Get your dog to run to you. Reward them with a high value treat. Repeat a few times.
✔️ Check for slipping, twisting, or sagging.
✔️ If it’s not quite right, swap them for a new size—on us!

Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery. Free returns are limited to one per purchase.

Product Use Disclaimer

At Rocky Mountain Paw Protection, we design our boots to provide comfort, protection, and durability for your dog’s paws. However, proper sizing, fit, and gradual acclimation are essential to ensuring a safe and successful experience.

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Fit & Sizing Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to measure their dog’s paws accurately and select the correct size using our sizing guide. If you are unsure, we encourage reaching out before use.
  • Proper Acclimation: Not all dogs take to wearing boots immediately. We recommend a gradual break-in period and close monitoring during initial use.
  • Wear & Tear: Like all dog gear, our boots will naturally experience wear over time. Longevity depends on factors such as terrain, activity level, and fit.
  • Liability Waiver: Rocky Mountain Paw Protection is not responsible for any injuries, discomfort, or damages resulting from improper sizing, incorrect use, lack of acclimation, or normal wear and tear. Customers use our products at their own discretion.
  • Returns & Exchanges: We accept returns and exchanges for unused boots in accordance with our return policy. Boots that have been worn outside cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Our goal is to provide high-quality, comfortable, and reliable paw protection. If you have any concerns about fit or function, please reach out before use—we’re happy to help!
